We are very sorry, but we dont have a real help yet. Actually, there were many other problems we had to look after. But here are
some basic and maybe usefull things we found out while working with SecureICQ:
Client: - Do not forget to set a server and port in the Settings-Window!
- When you are invisible, all others users will see you in their offline list. - You can disable the Message of the day in the Settings-Window.
Server: - Make sure to check your configuration in the cofig directory. Otherwise the server wont be able to start
- You must have MySQL installed!
Description of SecureICQ ===================
SecureICQ is an easy to use communication program. With SecureICQ it's possible to communicate in a very secure way. The secure
communication is ensured by a 128bit encryption.
With the help of a clearly arranged contactlist it's possible to talk with your friends when he/she comes online. Even making new
contacts is no problem, because of the easy search options. Of course, there's not only the possibility to talk with one person, but also with a whole group in a so called channel (or chat room).
SecureICQ is similiar to ICQ, but more secure because of it's higher encryption level. It works with Windows 95, 98, ME, NT4, 2000 and
XP.

When you are online you can search for your friends to find out if they are also registered in the network. To do this, click "Add
user to contactlist..." in SecureICQ menu. A search window pops up. After searching for users, doubleclick on a result to add him/her to your contactlist.
Talk with persons on your contactlist. A doubleclick on a user opens a message session.
Visit a chat room. There you can talk with several users simultaneously. In SecureICQ menu click on Chat. A window pops up where you
may enter the name of the chat room (also called: "Channel"). Click on search to search for channels.
Ask the network admistrator if you have a question (see Feedback).
